For tricky read disaster! You'll have to be careful with the voltage mismatch because in the event it does work, you could end up with one very puffy lipo very quickly and a resultant flambino.

Would look spectacular however.

Perhaps some work required first on the whole linkup mechanism and see if it is indeed feasible to reconnect just a simple cord between two planes in flight to start with, then move on from there.

How about transferring a package between two planes in flight via a linkup system?

5. Fly a mission with a wingman, but rely on instruments only ie OSD only, no camera view. Should include a landing. Arguably this might make a really boring video :)

Does a night flight Mission Count?

I'm bumping this cos I'm bored and not too much interesting stuff these days...
My first steps to fly FPV from a moving car..
CK & Crikey did it epic before, but here's my attempt.
CK's comments are spot on - it is very D/O to feel yourself moving around but the image in the goggles is stable, even though you can see the vehicle that 'you know you are in'...
Great fun, to be extended...

Nice job m8, but your mate drives too slow, get him a faster car.....lol.

It was good to see the earlier Videos too, when Mr Kitten used to fly proper FPV, instead of flying Multis.....:)

How about getting an RC car back with one of these?

Nice work. Never tried it in a quad before. Looks like you could do some interesting things with it.

I'm really liking this caper as a way of flying winter FPV'ness...
1. You keep your hands warm. Can have a coffee and a fag as you go.
2. You get to fly twice the total distance, cos you don't have turn and get home.
3. You get the unusual experience of landing at your destination, rather than seeing it then turning for home.
More to follow methinks  :D
EDIT: We did it with a GS in the back of the car, totally unnecessary at the range we flew.
But with planning, the plane could wander off 1 or 2k's, come back to the car and carry on the trip. If you don't get lost...
Sounds like fun to me....

12) A bombing missions 5km-10km from launch, drop a bright coloured foam ball nearest the target tree, shed etc. Bit like the old los toffee bombing from years ago, get a few pilots and see who can find the target and how close you can get.
I donít know about 10k away but I would have a go at this.

Meet up with another pilot at long range and do some formation flying before heading back home. Kinda difficult but with some communication, bright LED's and accurate waypoint it shouldn't be impossible.

Fly across the channel.

200km flight.

All of these things are pretty illegal and there aren't many places in the South East where you can get away from people and enjoy a long range flight. Kinda disillusioned with FPV these days. Wish I lived somewhere with a bit of wilderness and away from flight paths.
