I blame Coyote....
« on: May 14, 2017, 07:03:57 PM »

In the nicest possible way ;)

After seeing your drifting adventures, you have inspired me to drag my old drift car out and get her usable again :)

Ive been through what I can only describe as the worst 2 years of my life and lots of things have ended up on the back burner. This car was tucked just behind the back burner and Coyote has given me the kick up the arse I so desperately needed to get her out again.

So, shes been fired up, cleaned, checked over and now I need to get her in for MOT.
And here she is ;D

This is about the only picture I have of her sideways, I had just initiated so not much smoke and barely any lock. It was taken by the worlds worst photographer a fair few years ago whilst I was practicing at Westonzoyland.

Hahaha nice one !

I've been at Teesside Autodrome all day with kids for the British Drift Championships today. It was brilliant !

The car looks sweet ! I always wanted to drift a Skyline but people put me off with repair bill horror stories so went BMW to save on costs. Hasn't quite worked out like that though lol. Might as well have followed my heart and gone jap.

Surely there are Drifting forums out there on the interwebs?

(the fact that I even need to include this disclaimer is a sign of the times... but just in case you didn't get it, I'm engaging in what is commonly referred to as "banter"... why so serious?)

From my experience of the interwebs, sarcasm has never really come across very well ;)

Yes, there are. Driftworks* is run by a chap I used to know, we bought our 200sx's at the same time. I was crap at drifting (still enjoy doing it though) and he went on to win all sorts of stuff and turned it into a business.
