Fatshark Special Edition Goggles
« on: May 29, 2017, 10:46:08 AM »

https://hobbyking.com/en_us/catalog/product/view/id/67700/s/fatshark-attitude-v4-10th-anversary-edition

Looking to spend my birthday money so I would like some informed opinions on these goggles please. E.G. Are they worth the money, is there a notable difference between these and the V1 dominators that I have used for ages? Etc is there none local to North Herts with a pair I could have a look through? I used to have an original pair of attitudes and found that they didn't fit my eye sockets  too well but these with the face plate might be better
Cheers

I watched this revue the other day and the flyers on there seemed to like them.

Have you checked out the Aomway commander V2's. They're being great reviews.

If you're willing to wait a month or 2, my fatshark dominator v2 with faceplate and true d diversity module will be for sale.

There are so many versions of fatshark goggles now. The choice is somewhat difficult!

For so meany models and so long in the industry, They don't seem to have made meany upgrades, on so meany models.
I have the very first two pears of FatSharks, one that is 2.4 and one 5.8.
I had a go on my brothers Dominator V3 and apart from a DVR and a mask, not much has changed to the view.
When you need to spend 289/499 for the privilege.

289 for VGA 640 x 480 resolution display for
499 for SVGA 800 X 600 resolution display,  160 x 120  resolution for 210 extra, bargain.

Better resolution
Wider FOV

More comfortable face fitment
Better light intrusion blocking
Better battery
No misted up lenses due to the fan
32 channel receiver with OLED screen....

Seems like a lot has changed to me......

Better resolution, only really noticeable with the HD ones
Wider FOV, not on all upgrades
DVR, yes
More comfortable face fitment, I put rubber on my ones and there really comfortable
Better light intrusion blocking, no light gets in to my ones
Better battery, only just, but you can get a better after market one.
No misted up lenses due to the fan, Just stuck on like some sort of after thought, you could add your own computer fan.
32 channel receiver with OLED screen, you have to by this separate. for even more money and theirs aftermarket ones

Did you even look at the link in the OP?

Oled screen 32 check rx included.

And I was talking generally comparing the very first fatsharks to the large selection of fatsharks and their various upgrades and options.

Your statement was that they hadn't made many upgrades considering their length in the industry. I was merely pointing out the upgrades and options they have indeed created over the years.
