YEP 40 amp esc - any good?
« on: June 19, 2017, 11:16:45 PM »

I bought one of these for my MT, extended the motor wires and tested it as working a few weeks back. Now tonight I've connected it up to my apm power module and with my servo tester it no longer arms as before.  It beeps the cell count, but doesn't arm.

I checked the programming options and they seem to be fine, matching another yep 60a I have. Checked the voltage at the input to the esc, that's also fine. Checked the motor with another esc using the servo tester and that's all fine.

Has it just died or am I overlooking something?

I'd try calibrating the throttle range and see if it arms then.

Good idea, I could well have messed that up plugging in the servo tester.

Bingo!

It must have been the heat.

Cheers
