Looks nice! What does it's flying weight come in at ?

  Hi Ian,
I dont have a scale suitable to weigh it on TBH...I'd say the FPV/ AP gear all in is around 50 to 60 grams maybe..?

Its turned out very light, but by all accounts can handle a considerably heavier lipo than the 1300mah I intend using on it.
I dont think it will be short on power, the AXN motor and six inch prop is easily big enough for it.
I will try and get the AUW soon, this little wing has been known to break the 50km barrier with the right Lipo setup.

So with a 3s 2200 lipo mine comes in at 19 oz/ 540 grams. So it will need my registration details on a fireproof label ha ha ha. Unfortunately the motor shaft is about 30mm  short so I will need to lathe up a prop adaptor or knock up a motor mountInside outside pictures

  Looks good Big T...

Even 540 grams is considered light. Mine may even be under 500 grams with its smaller Lipo.

I goofed on mine, putting the FC too far forward to allow a longer Lipo.  That said, it was modelled after using an 1860 flight pack, which fits easily. The nanotech 1300mah will also fit though.

My XM Plus is out on the wingtip, keen to see how much range I can get out of it...If it flies ok, the plan is to install a small 1.2G vtx and a LP filter to increase video range at lower levels.

I cocked up with the motor, never thought to check the prop clearance. The stock motor must have a longer case or prop adapter.

Looks good! I keep seeing people using those massive multirotor GPS cases, why not just uncase it and save weight and space? Itís just a square PCB inside?

Sat receivers..... I just wish they would put decent wire on them, like servo cable gauge. They put those silly cotton thin wires on them so they can use those little white plugs, equally undurable.
It would not be so bad if they used silicon coated wire, but its stiff PVC.

I may try re-wiring my next one with decent servo cable wires.....Rant over..lol

I do agree, stiff wire that snaps, Grrrr. I downloaded config 1.9.2 and it proved a bit glitchy, froze the osd editor, so Iíve gone back to 1.9.1, You?

 Hi Big T,
Im using the stand alone version 1.9.2 of the Configurator, seems to work fine...including the OSD editor.

Have you uploaded the Fonts its used with first?

I still donít know what that pinout is for but 5 volts to it makes the magic smoke come out of the processor chip. So on the next one I will be leaving the pins out of that. BTW AKK F4 vanilla is now £13.

Erm, are you saying you have applied 5 volts input to a 5 volt output pad perhaps..?

The only place you can apply a 5 volt external BEC supply, is the servo output rail...
