Micro MinimOSD with RSSI from EZUHF
« on: April 10, 2018, 04:16:12 PM »

Is this possible?  Has anyone set it up?

I can see there is a pin for RSSI on the micro minimosd but no idea if I have just plug the signal wire from the ezuhf into it.  I suspect it is no where near as that simple!  ;D

 Hey Sir Dave,

I had to resort to a DAX (D to A converter) on my EZ receiver with the Storm...Works good though.

I now use Link Quality when using Omnibus flight controllers and inject RSSI down Channel #8....Full signal strength gives about an 80 value and steady using this method. Seems reliable too, with the signal dropping slightly with distance.
Are you using the Micro Minim with anything else then..?

                                                                                               :vulture:

I bought a couple of them after Wayne's video review. Thought it wasn't working but turned out it just took an age to get satellites. I haven't used them in anything yet but want to use one in my Tonka Yeti

 Hi Dave,
Oh, I see....You know you could do worse than get one of those Aeromax OSDs....much better than any Minim and works well. It's what I originally had in my Skyfun.  It has a GUI APP too...much easier to use.

I was just trying to use something I already had rather than spend money on even more bits :)
