Once you "get it" in Acro, there's no going back. I was filming a thing on air mode today, so I wanted to show how air mode could also be applied to a self-leveling mode.  Cur me, not being able to fly because the sodding quad kept going back to level (which felt like pointing up at the sky) every time I let go of a stick.

Hi Ched,
Yes, I have that orange Eachine Pro DVR and wasn't impressed at all with it TBH. Gave me a noisy recording even when I used a 1S Lipo to power it. Glad you mentioned the Firmware update for it though, I had forgotten about that.
Where did you get the Firmware from...Bangood maybe..?????

The tiny HMDVR-S on the Martian is definitely using a form of 16:9 NTSC format, it states it on the website. Since you ask, Im not sure what the Camera is set to on the Martian (I think all my cameras are PAL or set to PAL), but it certainly seems to work okay. I should have some nice footage from it soon all being well. It just clips off the bottom approx 15% of a PAL Camera but the width is fully recorded.

Just having a look round I found this page: http://www.surveilzone.com/HMDVR-S-DVR-640%2A480-NTSC-Video-Audio-Mini-FPV-Recorder-for-Micro-FPV-RC-Drone-g-2198 that links to a PAL Firmware that might help with the cropping? It doesn't say it fixes it and I have no knowledge about how legit the site or file is so might be a risk of bricking the dvr!!

 Hi Wayne,
Yep, I guess Im just used to holding the pitch stick forward all the time. Remember, I fly Mode 1, so it may be a little easier for me to do this compared to Mode 2 where Pitch and Roll are on the same stick..?
It does try and fly sideways crabbing style if I dont yaw it straight again, but I rather like it for where my skill level is at for now. It's great fun though, my dream of flying a Quad under Goggles has been realised at last.

 Hi Ched,
Yes, The HMDVR-S......Im not too bothered about flashing it for PAL really, its giving a good consistent result for what Im doing and the crop is pretty minimal.

I am going to try a Firmware flash of my Eachine Pro DVR though, right now the quality is a dog. I think I can just plug it onto my Martian as I have it on a standard 3 pin servo plug.
  Thanks for the links anyway....:)
