Hi Everyone,

I thought I'd start a thread about this great box set. This is what started me in FPV and what I still use today (I have an older version which came with the KX171), the only thing I've changed is the VTX, although the original is still in perfect working order.

The set comes beautifully packaged and has everything inside required to turn your RC model into a FPV vehicle. Everything is plug and play, the only things to do is attach your favourite battery connector to the included VRX power cable, add your own power sources (I used a 2s lipo to power the camera & VTX and a 3s lipo to power the VRX) and attached to you model. With this little baby, you could literally be flying FPV in a few minutes.

I've owned this package for a while now and must say am still very please my purchase.

Highly recommended for any FPV newcomers.

How many others on here have started with this?

Jay.

I started with this too, like yours Jay I bought it with the kx171 and I also changed the Tx.
Its a great bit of kit to start with, and being a plug and play system, I'd highly recommend it to anybody starting fpv flying.

I too started and still use 99% of this kit, the only thing thats not used is my poor KX131 camera that my big bear claws managed to damage :( and i moved to a more powerfull tansmitter but the 10mw still gets used

The kit is pefect for a fist time or someone wanting a to build up a much bigger system. I find the goggles are great and have no intentions of getting high spec moe expensive ones as i feel they work just fine fo me.

I have now increased the oiginal reciever by x3 for a diversity system as i found it pefoms eally well and at just 25 quid per addition its really good value fo money.

Altogether a well put together system highly recommended

Although i havent personally yet purchased this Flight Box.
Ive looked into it largely as i want optimum value for my cash.

This kit compared to similar priced, and even more expensive priced units in Europe and the States is awesomely spec'd

I cannot find a better value kit with the same quality of components.
Others either use really poor cameras, or poor recievers, and some use integrated RX/goggles, whitch leaves little room for expansion on it with regards to antenna's.

Simons box appears awesome, on paper, and in practice, as the above people can testify, i plan to use simons shop almost exclusively for FPV kit, the fact that hes a homegrown UK shop is a bonus for us too.

Yes indeed Steve!  We're just about to launch a 100mW VTx too which users can simply swap out for a bit more power (assuming they're radio amateurs and will be using on the ground of course).

All the best

Simon
