FRCFOAMIES SU37 Test

I found this online and turned the planes into a Cad drawing and laser cut this out of
3mm Depron, I like the design, its a brilliant little plane, but I don't like some of the construction, as a 3mm depron plane, so I'm re designing it, with a few changes, including an Airfoil, to strengthen the wing and simplified the fuselage slightly.

Hear is the tweaked version of the FRCFOAMIES superb FU37 Jet, original  Design by Jamie Rothwell.
This one is half the size of the original one, with a 340mm wingspan, using 3mm depron, I have simplified the fuselage, to accommodate my mini RC, and to make it easier to construct at its new scale, I have also added a airfoil to the wing, making it stiffer without needing carbon fiber strips, the weight is 52g and 72g with the battery.

With only 1 x 2200mA pack I can keep my 4 wing lipos charged up out in the field for over 2 hours continuous flying!






Unfortunately ive now lost it......to my son!
