What’s the modification?

I want to be able to use the MFD tracker even when its not tracking, this normally means the antenna has to point with a 45 degree tilt. The mod will let me set the tilt with a potentiometer to whatever I want instead when in offline mode.

Arrived yesterday actually !   Like everyone else, I've already got too many planes.... but couldn't resist the e-wings firefly.  Thanks Ewan!

Well this was totally unexpected ! A trip to see PK-Surfing ended up in coming away with a Scherrer UHF set ! It's always been out of my reach because of the price so to get a set gifted to me has blown me away, thanks Paul :)

The next item is so I can do a modification to my MyFlyDream Antenna Tracker today, its an Arduino Nano :

How jammy was that?

Today though came the result of using it and not being jammy :( I made the slight faux pas of leaving the UHF plugged in and didn't realise it was still being powered by the Tx when the Tx was unpowered ( rookie error ) bye bye lipo  (?)

So taday a new Gens Ace 2700 3S from HobbyRC will now be replacing the casualty :)

I had another "lost model" buzzer arrive for the TBS Discovery - worth its weight in gold, no way would I have ever found it last time it crashed into crops without the buzzer.

Quads seem to follow trends, and the "toothpick" idea seems to be one.  These two both arrived today.  On the left is the FullSpeedRC Toothpick which is a stretched X weighing in at 41g (without a lipo) and on the right the HappyModel SailFlyX at an even lighter 25g.  Both of them are rocking 65mm props and can use a 3s HV lipo.

They are in essence a 2-3s whoop that we are seeing everywhere, but just made for outdoors and speed.  Looks like an interesting concept
