Review of the FuriBee X215 Po
« on: February 09, 2018, 02:26:16 PM »

Howdy from Canada where I continue my exciting fmaily holiday sliding down mountains.  Happily though, I'd finished off another review before I left.  Today I'd like to give my impressions of the FuriBee X215 Pro which Gearbest kindly sent over for review.

Well, the summary of this one is that I really liked it.  It had a FrSky XM+ installed and ready to go (often they bundle in those really crappy D8 compatible rx's) the motors feel like they#ve got serious amounts of power, but it quite low RPM's - although enough to carry you around at a reasonable cruise - they seem fairly efficient.

So the camera mounting needs some fixing, and the lack of RSSI on the XM+ seems a bit of a missed oppertunity, but overall I pretty impressed with this one.  I like it when things just work out of the box... although it gives me less to make another video about when I fix stuff :)

Here's my affiliate link if you want to check it out https://www.gearbest.com/brushless-fpv-racer/pp_708379.html?lkid=12982706

So having come back home - I managed to get out and re-fly this.  I used some little 2mm rubber washers around the screws to create friction on the camera and that stopped it from moving around.  This time I added a GoPro session - which looks pretty good, but not perfect.  My thoughts were that strapping a flat thing to a curved base isn't going to be perfect, so maybe a piece of foam there will help it out ?
