Emax Babyhawk-R 3"
« on: March 29, 2018, 06:10:12 PM »

Picked up one of these little suckers from quadcopters.co.uk yesterday and I'm blown away by it.  Such a sorted little thing straight out of the box, decent Foxeer camera on there too.  Not had chance to try it in calm conditions yet but even fighting a stiff breeze on its maiden flight this was amazing fun:

! No longer available

So tiny and quiet too, this will be going everywhere, definitely the new camping quad.

Managed to squeeze a Runcam Split Mini onto it and gave it a quick go between showers earlier:

It's crazy how small and stable these things are nowadays, it's like night and day compared to even 2 years ago.

Yeah, it's ace how quick they've progressed.   Really impressed with the Runcam Split Mini, though.  I just wish I could afford one to replace all my FPV cameras.  The HD footage isn't GoPro but it's certainly good enough and the view through the goggles is as good as any FPV camera I have except for the Eagle 2 on my main quad.
