Vector Audio
« on: September 02, 2018, 08:49:08 AM »

Hi folks, using Vector and immersion 600mw vtx. Trying and failing to get audio output to either my GS or skyzone goggles. Using “tinymic v2” as advised by ET. Connected to mic input on vector and audio TX to vtx. All wiring is good to vtx etc and the mic has supply voltage. Tried other mics from banggood, but same result. Also connected mic output direct to vtx. Not sure what to try next . Only want to hear motor but audio warnings/ vector be handy!

Hi Kellybob

I also run Vector setups with audio and ImmersionRC VTxs and the only situation on which I had issues with no audio was when the vector audio output was connectged to the IRC VTx right channel (immersion VTXs have 2 audio channels) and I was listening only to the left channel on the groundstation.

Hope that helps

Cheers

That,s interesting. I only have one input to the vtx on the right channel. Should I be using both channels? If so how do I connect to the mic? I assumed the 2 channels were to run a stereo set up. Regards.

hi KB

to what channel are you listening to in the groundstation?

If you connect to both channels at the VTx that should sort it out in any case....

Cheers

I Tried ear buds connected to goggles using Stand alone RF link (skyzone VJ 01)  The ground station monitor was connected to audio from another RF RX. Actually Eagle Eyes set up. I did try a jumper wire between LH and RH audio inputs on the immersion vtx. It is mounted on the wing and I only ran a single wire hook up for audio. All I hear is “noise” on both speaker outputs.
