It looks like a PC based system only, if Mavlkink worked with it you could use an app like QGround control for an android but its showing only compatible with Airbender or Happy Kilmore protocol which don't host android apps.

I keep hovering over the buy button on this type of GPS tracker.
https://www.gearbest.com/baby-safety/pp_009200337830.html?wid=1433363
All appear to be between 10-15 dependant on model
Pay As You Go SIM and removing the built in magnet.Live tracking too your own moblie device via google maps.
No radio telemertry system complicating a build and adding another wave length too the mix (though your countries mobile phone and your TX frequecies are another factor).
Long standby time independant of all the other systems and a good lost model finder in theory.
The down side that shouts out to me.It's dependant on the tracker and your phone or tablet both having a signal throughout the flight.
I'm still having a look around for a review on it's performance .

You look at this:
http://upload.sunsky-online.com/res/drivers/S-GPS-0968.pdf
at point 9, we talk about web links. If it writes an xml on my site, I can make a web page that shows google maps and registered points ... But I'm not clear how to configure it. You understand?

From a brief syudy Luca.
It appears all these cheaper models use a SMS text message to relay the position? Some trackers give the option of setting the message intervals. This could be very expensive for a 60 minute flight updating for example every 5 seconds  :o.
I may buy one to use as a lost model tracker.
It will be intersesting if you find out more information.
Here is a you tube video of some one using a similar device for drone tracking.

I have a tracker on my car trailer that update it's position on Google maps every couple of seconds once it's moving. You need a SIM card for it but it would work.

iTrack it's called, around 30
