Wasn't that impressed to start with, It sounded a bit windy and feeble for my liking having been used to my planes on 6s with supersonic tips... was running it on 3s as that's the closest to the 12v it's supposed to be fed with when fitted on a car, but you know how it is in our hobby...had to try it on 4s 'just to see' if it would work or burn it out...well, it really honks now!!! Didn't burn out and it's really punchy now real dynamic start to the honk instead of a half hearted windy build-up.. Can't wait to unleash it in public once all this Chinorona virus lockdown is behind us.. I am thinking next to a cash machine, or a park bench / bus stop or something.. It is going to be a proper giggle!! Any suggestions of where to unleash it are welcome..requests as such lol.. Will be going on the Youtube channel.

First off don't do it to anyone who looks even oldish as it may give them a heart attack!

You don't have bushes at the front of your house when you could hide it do you? Anyone who isn't 2m apart gets a blast!!!!!

I wonder how it could help social distancing?????

Supermarket trolley if someone gets too close?

So I have gone Old School and Vintage. Just finished a scratch build Ben Buckle Majestic Major, with an OS 91 FS Four Stroke. 200 hours build. Loads of money WTF. Next on the building table will be a Flair Eindecker look alike called a Hannibal, with a Terry Thomas pilot AKA Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines.

I look forward to your Hannibal, Iím on my second frame, foolishly sold the first a few years back, then I bought the kit, now I have a second ready made frame. The first had a crrp 26i pulling it up like the home sick angel! The second has a os 90 fs. They fly so solidly. Go stick a camera just behind terrys shoulder for some real atmospheric shots!

I have continued with my home project, now onto the mancave where I hope once complete it will rejuvinate my enthusiasm and start to get flying again.

I began by emptying all the boxes of stuff, that's when I decided I need storage, lots of storage ! So I have put in some units, although 2 are getting swapped out for drawer units at a later date.

To get this to work I have removed the rear of the units on the left so the worktop didnt hit the door architrave, then on the right hand unit they are spaved 5" from the wall which you can hee better in this pic :

The reason was so I could make false wall with a splashback that matches the worktop. The false wall will house the 4" exhaust vent for a K40 laser cutter, air pipes and electrics for the whole bench.

Being a kitchen unit and me wanting to sit the laser / 3D printer and still wanting to be sat with my legs underneath the right hand side has a breakfast bar worktop thats 900mm deep rather than the 600 of a normal worktop.

The units underneath will under the laser house a 30 litre bucket for water cooling, the air compressor for air assist so access is fine, the right hand side I will be prininting some spool holder design so all my filaments will be poking up just below the bowden extruder so I can swap filements easily.

On Monday I managed to grab 2 hours and bought the worktops and fitted them, got some support legs on the joining worktop so I can stare out into the garden daydreaming :)

Bought the doors and handles so on they went :

I then got the splashback done with 6x double sockets which I will be swapping for black chrome eventually but funds were getting low so in went the whites :)

I still have the left side to splashback / fit sockets etc because that's going to be my charging station side of the room but for now this monmth anyway ran out of funding for it :)

I have though core drilled the 4" hole in the wall through for the vent system, got to work today and the vent and piping is here so I can get that installed now, then next month get the laminate flooring down.
