Good idea, just the videos then close the thread, a great reference.
EasyStar, Skywalker V2, X8, Zephyr II, FPVraptor, Spidex, ZMR250, DG300. Eagle Tree stuff.

I thought this was going to be a tutorial on how to be good at tutorials.  ;D

Coyote

Suggestion taken, but denied :)

This could turn into a nice active big thread, the videos will always be the first post

Fine by me - stickying was the most important bit !

Tones of info, well thought out tutorial.
Thanks

Thanks for those videos Coyote. As an FPV newbie, I think the messages about keeping the video stuff simple at the beginning, flying comfortably familiar r/c planes, and not feeling you 'have' to have the more sophisticated antenna tracking and high gain receivers on Day 1, all echo the KISS advice that other forum members have shared... :)

Early next week I should be receiving Jim's super-antennas  ;D, and on Christmas day I get to open my EzOSD, but meanwhile I am getting in my hours (well, minutes) with some simple eye-in-the-sky fpv flying...

From a video making perspective, I liked the bite size chunks, the resulting focus, and the use of a decent microphone.

Cheers,
Nick

More than welcome, I thought it might help :)

Nice collection of vids and super-authorative from the main man himself. I reckon he could give himself a snappier closing line though.  ;D
