Just need control rods & esc & vtx power. Oh & some magnets for the hatches

Gonna run on 1500 mah 4s!

Lol, yeah lickle baby Z.

Should be a riot mate, it's got the motor from the Hobbyking Fun Fighter range running on 4s.

Search youtube for hobbyking Rare Bear 4s, gonna be mental.

No osd, no RTH, no stabiliser - just seat of your pants FPV craziness!!

Lol, don't think it's wide enough to sit on the launcher rails!

Hand throw only me thinks ;)

Should be easy enough to throw anyways.

Flyn, that's looks mint!!!

I am fast becoming a fan of these small wings. Be warned though!!!! They do make you fly like a nutter on a joy ride ha ha!!!

Launching is easy, hold on leading edge and lob it. Works everytime for me.

They do like big tall buildings though so watch out!!!

Cheers matey,

Yeah I know what you mean, can't wait to fly it...  & yes I do intend to fly it like I stole it ;)

I got a hk tek sumo that needs the same type of wing tip lob.

I'll keep an eye out for those buildings mate, just gotta make sure they don't jump out at me huh.

Cheers dude, just setup my control rods & servo travels.

Just need to install esc & then waiting for vtx regulator which should be here next week.

Looking like I might still needing some nose weight, or I need a really really small OSD to squeeze in there!

You shouldn't need a reg Dude. I ran my Vtx straight off a 4S on my first Zeph with no probs whatsoever. I did glue a small ally heat-sink to the top however.

Yeah Spook, I remember your cool little heat sink, that was nice! Just didn't wonna run it on 16v as the buggers get hot enough on 12v!! Lol

Rather run it on 7.2v, should get less heat & less noise in the video too.

Well it's finished apart from the 7.2v bec for the vtx.

That "should" be here tomorrow with luck.

Got a 5.25x4.75 prop pulling about 20a & weighs in at 650g AUW

What do we think, will it fly??

Oh yeah, flew it the other day, is a little tough to wingtip launch but flies really nicely! It's fairly quick too, want to mod it for a 6" prop though.

Will post some vid up later ;)

Looks Great!

Looks like Mini wings are really convenient = fun!

Now I'm wondering how small you could go?

How much does all the fpv gear weigh?

regards
Andy

Cheers lads, it's great fun for sure, the Fpv gear is a standard immersion rc vtx & 2g camera with 7.2v bec. It don't weigh much!
