Title: Hobbyking KK Board v3 Problem
Post by: USAF on March 21, 2013, 08:28:16 PM
Hi all,
I've built a quad and used the HK KK V3 board on it. I was flying it in + config untill 2 days ago when my USBasp programmer came in. I flashed X config on it and now there is a problem I can't figure out. Motor port M4 ( back right with the setup I'm using) will not start to spin until half throttle. When I change pins on the board the problem will go to which ever motor is in port M4 so it's the board and not a motor or ESC. Has anyone used this board and had similar problems? I have reloaded the software on my PC, re-flashed the board about 5 times, and checked my wiring about 10 times. I cannot figure this damn thing out.  Please help me fix this stupid thing. The sun was out today for the first time in weeks and I couldnt fly because I was going mad working on this quad.

Thanks for any help,

Ray

Never mind. Turns out the v4.7 firmware is crap. I just loaded a 3 year old version (2.9) and it works. Not well, but Ill work with it.
