Title: New Product: FY-41AP
Post by: DaveyLC on April 01, 2013, 03:55:37 PM
Looks Like the big boy version of the DOS system, with integrated OSD too! :)
Quote• Internally integrated OSD, with new graphics overlay for more clear and accurate on-screen parameter display.

• Accurate air speed sensor will automatically adjust airplane air speed via the throttle channel! Easy Airspeed setting!

• Optional integrated power supply module ensures the autopilot and servos work at optimal levels.

• Flight parameters can be set using your RC Transmitter. You don't have to lug around your field computer anymore !
No sign of a price or official release date yet though although it does say "Monday 15 April, 2013." :)

Yeah all FY products bar the FY91Q (which was a joke) are awesome.

I had issues with the FY 20A stabilisation unit as it worked superbly for 99% of the time and then when you least expect it it would go nuts and the plane would spiral in rapidly. Lost faith in Feiyutech at that point.

Yes, same experience electricmick.
Full throttle (no time to shut it off) into a rock.
Smashed the FY and a GoPro.
Didn't do the model any good either.
Since then I'm right off FY products.

How did you have the units mounted?? Did you do vibration tests? They do shut down if there is major vibration and flick back to manual.

Maybe you had un-balanced or damaged props so at W.O.T there were shit loads of vibes?
