Hi, I have just built a Y6 650 frame using hobby king f-20a ESC's flashed by myself with simonk fw.
Have used the DJI assistant to set up, but when testing, 4 motors start straight away, but two others are somewhat recalcitrant. They won't run until throttle is 50%.
I had calibrated all ESC's beforehand ,full throttle, bleeps, idle throttle.
Were all working OK outside of the model, but can't seem to resolve this issue. Although these ESC's are linear I took out the red wires before plugging in to the Naza.
The motors are Keda 20-28M's. 3S flight pack.
Tried end point adjusting the throttle to 140% Max (Futaba FF9 with FrSky 2.4 module with telemetry)
Another thing which worries me, is once the motors start on 50% power, if I throttle off, the 2 motors in question will stop below 50%, obviously not good when flying!
Can anyone give me some pointers/clues how to fix this, tried internet searches but not too much info out there.
Thank you
Matt
Well, guess what...sorted!! :D
Went into assistant software, on motor mixer, moved the slider up from recommended to the area between high and reccomended, re started it, and now everything perfect.
I hope this may help other users having the same issue.
Now I can finish up and get this thing flying :D
