Ordered the Skywalker V6 on Monday eve from HK Netherlands warehouse (only ones had it) and it arrived this afternoon. :D ;D :-*
By it looks big along side my Bixler. The room in the fuz will fit the cat in as well as all the bits.
Will be asking in the near future as to what servos and power train I will require. Might as well open that can of worms. Ha ha and what wants to go where.
Do a few searches on previous Sklywalker builds, read them and then ask away. It is a great FPV platform.
Yep, started looking. ;D
Hi Mike,
I read your message, and logged on immediately to Hobby King to order a Skywalker from the Netherlands. On backorder, sadly. I've been waiting ages for these to come into the UK warehouse, and lost patience and ordered an EPP FPV instead. I'd prefer a Skywalker, as the EPP FPV is as ugly as me. Still, as it's my first FPV plane, it probably won't last long.
Let us know how you get on with the build and installation please.
Trevor
EPP will serve you well, wouldn't worry about aesthetics - it's the view out front that matters :)
I ordered one last week from NL, it's apparently "Out for Delivery in France"
My mate ordered one on the same day from NL & his is apparently "Being Held in Spain"
Useless dumbass ****ing courriers!! Not impressed!
Had a quick look at the airframe out of the box and all looks OK. Only thing is should there be some sort of Manual or data sheet as to C of G? If so can anyone copy and post it. Any advice?
I usually fly all my aircraft slightly nose heavy.
Found loads on Motor train set ups. Thanks
Here you go fella:

Mine should turn up Tuesday - with luck, apparently its at my local depot ready for delivery :D
I take it all back! ;)

Remember the COG is slightly different on each version so make sure you get the right one, flying slightly nose heavy in my opinion is good for the Skywalker.
+1
Thanks one and all. Manual downloaded. Note taken on correct C of G for V6
