Hi - I'm about to start build on a QAV500 and will be using Tiger motors 4006 KV740.
Would really appreciate thoughts please on following options
(i) desolder DJI 30A OPTO Escs from the NAZA Quad and use those (I'm re-using the NAZA unit anyway).
(ii) buy SimonK flashed ESCs, (or do it myself)

Sorry if this or something similar has been asked before......want the best solution and am in unfamiliar territory.

Thanks - it's good advice and will be doing that whichever route I go, the current set up has direct soldered connections following issues with the NAZA flipping.
I don't want to spend more notes unnecessarily - there's an awful lot about how good Simon K flashed ESCs are, but there have been issues with that firmware and pancake motors (allegedly now sorted). However, I already have a set of ESCs on the NAZA which are multirotor ESCs - so unless Simon K is better than the stock DJI ESCs, why would I buy more (?)?
I've been flying both Turngy and DJI, my advice is if you're new in the game go for DJI they are very good; but if you want to flash then go for the Turngy 30A Opto's and flash them your self with SimonK ; some ready flashed one's seem to be running hot? The difference I've found is the Turngy are really crisp on the throttle running at 480Hz; the motors I'm using are Flycam 925Kv delta windings. ;)
