Title: HELP PLEASE what's best to learn fpv 450 or 330 size
Post by: stevestoys on May 11, 2013, 07:33:42 PM
I have a sk450 quad at the moment but was thinking of getting  a 330 size one to try fpv. It's got kk2 board etc same as my 450 would this be harder to fly ? I know with planes the bigger they are the more stable is it the same with quads or doesn't that work ? HELP PLEASE

Yes, the same is with multi rotors also. The longer the arms, the more stable they are. I have not flown the 330. But I think there might not be much difference in 450 and 330. 330 is too small. For KK2 LCD board, 450 size is good.

But it is all about the tuning. If you get the tuning right on the 330 as well, it wont matter as the sizes are not very different.

Bigger the better, plus adding more weight (FPV gear) works against a smaller one to a greater degree.

Yup bigger the better, but there is no real leaning to fly a quad tbh it just flies its self you just give it directions unless you fly in manual even then its alot easier than helis
