I think this is the Deagostini Spitfire kit which you got parts for with a weekly magasine. It was a long, slow and expensive way to do it but your neighbour has done that it for you.

Just telling Grandpaw Jonah that I've been passed on one of these More or less built (needs covering) & remembered this one, any update? is it finished? has it flown? my canopy's crap, gonna need to replace front of it so camera can see out, be interested to see what motor, prop, lipo's you're using & general comments.
