Hi all.. my first post :) this is my completed Zephyr build and ground station. Big thanks to Simon and crew at firstpersonview for most of my goodies cheers guys ;)

Sweet build mate! Looks good.

Mine is looking a bit worse for ware now so will build a new one soon. Got most of the bits ready to go, just waiting for the airframe.

This will be my 3rd, I got the 2nd one secondhand - almost new but needed some repairs.

My 1st is 1 year old now & was in great shape until last month thanks to a rock at Mam Tor & the unlucky accident that happened in this video:

Looking good mate. Looks like you've gone all out for the ultimate set up! :thumbsup:

Interesting choice of batteries though. What's your all up weight like??

Hi spookfish, sorry for late reply on this one... AUW on the zeph is HEAVY!!! 2368g :( with the 5000mah bats. maiden flight was with these and to be honest it did not feel heavy on sticks just lands way to hot for me ! adustment necessary lol

Just built an easystar and found a 3900mah battery that fits just nice without the need to cut a bay, its a reasonable weight for a larger capacity (easystar AUW with all toys on board 992g so may use a couple of these in the zeph... FY+Hornet will not be staying in, ive tried it and dont like it :( see im shedding the pounds already :D
