Hi All,
There is a certain style of flying that when I watch the video I find that I am leaning my head and dodging objects as they fly past the screen. This is my attempt at recreating one of those video's in my own style of flying.
The final crash at the end broke two props and 1 motor shaft. The wind at some points was very strong which made being behind a wall of trees and over a very deep gorge that little bit more exciting.

Always looks easier afterwards (with a cup of cha) from HD gopro as well, horrible from fpv cam, live??! Did you get any Vtx drop-out with all that wood around?
Forgot to ask...what Vtx setup do you use on that quad?

Thank you a lot mate, its I enjoy this so much that its good to hear from you. I'm from the BBC Micro (in school) and Comador64 generation, good finger twitcher ;D
My video setup is Fatshark Attitude SD Goggles with their built in 5.8Ghz vRx and skew planar antenna, on the quad I have the matching FatShark vTx and another skew planar, my FPV camera is the Sony Pz0420. With all of those items together the image was stunning while I was flying, the sun was low and I was seeing some beautiful colours on the canopy of the trees and the definition of the branches etc in low light and approaching objects facing the sun is amazing. This is a great reliable setup :)

Yes, all good gear sir! I have exactly the same, except I am currently using a 25Mw Immersion Vtx, which gives a pretty good signal for the sites I currently fly at (open areas), just not too good with trees! I have a 600mw on order, so will give that a try when it arrives.

So true, I did try and stay as close to the trees myself while flying to minimise the effect but even at its furthest part and behind the most trees (out of LOS) the video and RC link stayed rock solid! I was amazed
