After loosing my first model and equipment I have reordered and upgraded to 600mw vtx
Now a couple of questions I have
1. The new camera is 12v cmq1993x not 5v so what's the way way to wire this through a step up.???
2. I have ordered some clip on ferrite rings where should I place these.???
Many thanks

Hi Tim
Sorry you lost your model.
You can power the camera and Vtx with a seperate small 3-cell lipo (800-1200Mah)
then there would be no need for any ferrite ring polava. I know its extra weight but its the way I do it.
Way to go. :)
I may do that what's the draw rate of the camera and vtx
Thanks
On my Easystar with a 100mW Vtx, I have been using a 200 mAh 2s lipo.
I've just recently bought a 600 mW Vtx and a 12v camera http://www.firstpersonview.co.uk/cameras/650tvl-0.001lux-3d-dnr-super-mini-camera-with-2.8mm-lens (http://www.firstpersonview.co.uk/cameras/650tvl-0.001lux-3d-dnr-super-mini-camera-with-2.8mm-lens) so I bought a step up cable. On this camera I had to change the pins around on the plug but I bench tested with a 200mAh 2s battery. Of course with the higher output of the Vtx I will use a larger battery in flight.
