Yeah was certainly different, wouldnt mind trying it with a brushless boat, maybe a catamaran, but still on a canal, more to see and would look cool with the reflection, just my thoughts though lol

Don't see the appeal at all. You don't even get to feel the sensation of being knocked about by big waves.

Still if it makes you happy...........................

Half of the appeal of FPV to me is to see the world from a different perspective.  RC cars and boats only really offer the same thrilling views afforded to you by either swimming or having falling over.

Still compared to skydivers we must seem dull as our feet never leave the ground, however the boat is white dull BUT i watched a program on discovery a few weeks back (keep it clean guys) about RC Boat wars !!! They had gad operated cannons on board and had massive wars between them until they sank their opponents. It looked very fun and i can imagine that it would be very cool fpv with crosshairs etc.

Looks like 20ft swells but I suspect ripples on a pool lol. The view was a bit restricted though with the framework in the way.

I quite liked it but a better view and nearer the bank would help
