I'm just setting up my first quad controlled by a KK2 (the other is a Naza) and I'm finding it pitches up when I increase throttle and pitches down when I decrease throttle but it hovers fine. It did this on v1.2 and v1.6 of the firmware and with Auto-Level on and off. I'm sure I can mix this out on my tx but wondered if there was some other reason/setting that might be causing this (could it even be as simple as CofG too far back?).
Given I'm going to FPV with this quad the tendency to head back towards me on take-off until up in a hover is a little off putting at the moment! (and don't just say turn it around on the ground :P)
Have you Done throttle Esc calibration routine on it? Think you hold down button 1 and 4 then power on the kk2.
Is your transmitter in heli mode with some weird swash mix set?
Strange hmmmm
My kk2 would do this on my tri, I'd gas it & it would fire itself backward. Moved battery forward to sort CG - cured.
My Tri would also do the same until i moved the Battery it was the CG for sure the problem..
No amount of trimming would ever solve it as the wind changed the Tri would just be all over the place until the cg was sorted.
If your CG is correct you can also go into self level setting ad adjust the pitch value to +20 and see if that solves it.
I found adding + or - 20, 40 , 60 would get me to the correct levels faster than 1,2 etc as its quite sensitive.
Hope this Helps
Jay
CofG it was guys, I've removed some weight from the back end and it's much better now...thanks!
Cool nice result !! :D
