Fairly sure GinnerFPV and JwMachon will come too.

Lets see if we can get some of the Southerners up for a play and then in a few weeks we shall go down South and bother them!!

This Sunday get ready!!

It is officially going to be SCORCHIO  :o :o So make sure you have your suncream and plenty of water other wise you will die.... probably!!

We are going to meet at the hallowed Turf Fields DN17 4BP. The field is just to the South of the Post Code dead in the middle of the link on Google Maps below.

MAP

Feel free to pop along for another day of great FPV.

PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE ON THE GRASS, there is plenty of parking at the side in the rough.

I am going to get there for about lunchtime but I am sure some will arrive earlier.

There will be plenty to see and lots of knowledgable people to get advise and tips from if you are new to FPV. It will be well worth the drive.

Lets kick off summer 2013 with a great FPV meet  ;D ;D ;D

Simon.

Either the above or from the Pit Top at Armthorpe. Both great places to fly from without the politics that go with club flying. Also fly from DMFC at Tickhill. They have been great with FPV since I popped down last year and showed it to them, saying that not been down this year due to flying at the other places.

Take a look at my YouTube account for where we fly from:

Will have a look.

I had to also fly from dmfc when I got mine ay year or so ago.

If you know nidge, I asked him and he ask the committee.
And where fine with it.

He helped me test out what I had at the time.

Amazing how different two clubs 10 miles apart can be so different

Yeah will be good to see you too Steve. Just ordered a Bixler which should be here tomorrow all being well. So will have that to fly as well as the wing. Must admit I'm bricking it at the moment. Not flown for a long while and it wasn't very successfully then. Are we just meeting at the site or gonna rendezvous at Si's on the way?

I'm afraid I'm gonna have to drop out. Finished assembling the bixler to find the trim weights I had place in the tail had come loose. I won't have time tomorrow (today) to strip it and rebuild and it's a fair way to go for 3 quick flights of my wing. Sorry guys :-(

I will be "landing out" from around 12:00 onwards. You chaps are welcome to get there anytime. Just remember not to park on the grass please.

Working till 5am so could do with a couple hours of sleep.

Owner of the turf field is David Cundall. Fairly sure SteveW met him last time.

Any issues most of you have my number so just give me a buzz.

It was a great meet, weather was scorchio, but cant complain.
Nice to see the wings and hex flying.  the tbs wing was simply brilliant, gotta get me one of those!
Shame my twinstar hit the long grass while landing, taking it out of action after only one flight :(

Look forward to the next one.
