Next week I fancy a trip up to the Ribblehead viaduct:

Was wondering if anyone would like to join me for a spot of FPV for the day. Thinking Thursday or possibly Friday. Just thinking Friday maybe busy though with it being a bank holiday?!!?
Some STUNNING locations there for some FPV and you might even catch a steam train!!!
would cost me about £70 in fuel :( Sooo need to invest in a diesel.

8 seats in my bus so can split fuel costs if we get a few from round here. Lots of room for gear too.

Sure can. If you get to mine you can jump in with me. Save some pennies on fuel.
I like the sound of this
I am in
It's ok for all you that work for yourselves or for a school haha :-)
Some still have days to use and not be at work
Sounds like a fine plan, again pop here and we'll car share. Will cut down on fuel costs somewhat.
Sounds like a plan and should make it a fun road trip.
Before we all set off can we sort out what CH people are on can cut down and problems while we are there
IMRC Ch6
Erm...
I'm off thursday funny enough
but 3 hour drive...
I'm out, I have stuff to test I'm afraid and must put that before pleasure flying :( :(
OK count me in if I can come in the Mystery Machine - can we sing Que Cera Cera?? :D

Yeh we can sort that. I know it is you current pet hate. I am sure we can get some separation going on so we can at least have a few up at a time.
Shall we say Thursday so far???
That's results day so you ok with that Faffer???
Would love to join you for that but far to far away for me. I'm a bit of a railway nut too and Ribblehead is a fantastic piece of railway architecture. Can get a bit of a blow on up there though, think the wind gets funnelled up the valley.
Get some great footage for me to see, just don't crash into a train teamfpv.
Enjoy guys, Mark
Well, I'm on channel 1

I know... 5.8 sux for more than 3 or 4 people at once...
actually my vtx's are mounted on the top of both my craft, easy to switch so no problemo
Faffer needs to move to ch7...
Then we can have 1, 3, 5 and 7
Otherwise we're only gonna get
1, 3, and 6.
ok ill move
But did someone not say about 1 and 7 are bad together ..
But sounds like a plan is on its way
Now to move that CH at some point
I dont see how... 1 and 7 are opposite ends of the band.
yea I am sure someone did but 7540-5860 but fine I will be moving it over ...
Just looked this place up on a map..... BLOODY HELL It's far!!!
It's not as far if you zoom out!!
I hate you lot
Im guna be stuck at work lol have a great day fpving
Si Friday is not a bank holiday,
Monday is
Yea but people tend to put in for a long weekend...
Gotcha! Well have a good day guys! Can't wait for the videos!
Well just had a look at the forecast, 6mph winds!!! OH YEH GET IN!!!!
Should be a fantastic day for some FPV action up there.
I will be setting off at about 7:30 / 8:00am I should think, unless anyone else needs me to hang around. Let me know if you need a lift. I have an 8 seater van so can squeeze some in to save on fuel. I am in Armthorpe, Doncaster if you have not been before.
This should be an epic days FPV so do not miss out!!!!
Simon.
Well folks the weather looks ok'ish for tomorrow up at Ribblehead. Chance of some rain but 6mph winds, gotta be worth a 2 hour drive.
If you want a loft with me I can either pick you up on the way or if you can meet at mine for 7:30??? We can then set off and have a good day of it.
Let me know if you're coming and then I have a good I sea what I am fitting in the Mazda Bongo.
Cheers and lets hope for a steam train to chase!!
I think I'm going to make the most of this: http://xcweather.co.uk/forecast/dn19_7ps (http://xcweather.co.uk/forecast/dn19_7ps)
2mph winds = calm weather for the TBS Disco and I'd like to get some nice footage of things in the local area that I've been wanting to do for weeks.
Enjoy guys.
Now apparently there is a bridge near your house to fly too...
Where?
I am not sure you can actually miss it. With the chances of showers at Ribblehead I do not fancy a 2.5 hour drive to find it is rained off.
Will text Rich and see what he thinks about coming over t'umber way on. There is plenty to fly round there.
If I can get wing fixed I may join you If invites still open, humbers only 30mins down road!
Suppose I best have a proper look at this damn wing
I gunna have to give it a miss..cant get a sitter for little 'un :(
Slight change of plan.
As there is the chance of rain tomorrow we have decided not to drive 2 hours to get rained off. Instead we are off into the Peaks to have a play at Stanage Edge and the surrounding areas.
Anyone who is around is more than welcome to come and join the fun!!
It is here, there is a BIG car park on the road just South of it:
https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=Stanage+Edge,+Outseats,+Derbyshire+Dales+District&hl=en&sll=52.8382,-2.327815&sspn=9.788406,29.11377&oq=stanage&t=h&hnear=Stanage+Edge&z=15
Nearest Postcode is S32 1BR which is just a little further South.
See you there.
Si.
Have a good day guys !
