Title: Impressive results from EzUHF swamp test
Post by: DaveyLC on October 10, 2013, 11:40:58 PM
While finishing off rattys new wing my 70cm radio was sat on my desk so we thought we'd see how hardy the EzUHF link is.. We set the radio to the middle of the range being used by the Ez, but the radio in full power (5w) and set the Ez to low power (100mW) with the Ez about 5m away the only way to lock it out was to touch the RX antenna with the 70cm radio antenna while keyed up!

I'm massively impressed!

Also you only get a tiny click on the radio every few seconds as the Ez hops about on the band so it's nice and clean .

Nope that was on v1.29 of the firmware :) it's the version we've always found stable so we've stayed on it.
