Title: Ezuhf Virgin!!
Post by: fraggle101 on October 15, 2013, 10:36:24 PM
Iv just started my Disco Pro build and im fitting Ezuhf, and im a Ezuhf virgin!  thik iv seen that if i setup ppm i only need a couple of leads plugged into the RX & Naza, is that right? im also looking for a decnt vid or diagram to wire up a lead from the radio to Tx with the power included so i only have the one wire..

Can anyone throw some light on these issues?

Ta muchly..

Hi, I use ezuhf on my models, and have PPm set up on all of them.....

It is really straightforward....

There is a good write-up here

http://www.fpvmanuals.com/2013/07/05/cc3d-and-ezuhf-4-channel-rx/ (http://www.fpvmanuals.com/2013/07/05/cc3d-and-ezuhf-4-channel-rx/)

This is using a 4ch rx, but the process is the same for any of the rxs.......

What radio are you using? Its got to have the 'Futaba' PPM order (or be able to have the order configured) :)

You can choose the order of the channels in the ezUHF software for PPM, I'm happily using mine with a JR radio with the channel re-mapping taken care of in the ezUHF.

Mine is all set up and running fine on my TBS Pro and Turnigy 9XR.

If you have any problems get in touch, build or the RC set up.

This is true but only on the later 'wide band' firmware but sadly it plays havoc with spectrum TX's :(

I've been using Spektrum and EzUHF for a couple of years :) never had a glitch that's caused a crash... Ratty has the same setup.. We have both settled on the v1.29 firmware.

The latest firmware caused the EzUHF TX to be a bit more brutal with its frequency hopping which the Spektrum TX doesn't seem to like.
