hi all
i have built myself a hexacopter
it has e-max 920kv motors , 25a turnigy plush esc's , frame from unmanned tech shop , 6000mah flight battery , goodluckbuy camera gimbal , topped off with a naza lite

the frame kit came minus the fibreglass motor mounts so i had to make my own hense the wood motor mounts
there was no bits to hang any payload on the frame so i made the gimbal mount the battery mount and the vtx mount
the camera gimbal from goodluckbuy was £65 inc post and for the price i cant fault it fully assembled and worked with no issues , if you are wondering what the weights are for its because i don't have a go pro yet soon i hope!!

have test hovered the hex all systems seem to working ok vey pleased with the flight times getting just under 14 mins until the first naza battery warning light comes on could get 15 mins before the autoland kicks in
i did borrow a gopro to test the gimbal while i test hovered the hex and the footage seems very good

looking forward to fpving this beast , was hoping to do this over the weekend but the weather seems to have other ideas
Looking good Stef, what is the AUW and prop sizes your using ?
the auw is 2kg and it has 10x4.7 props
has loads of power and very stable even in turbulent conditions just what you need in a camera ship
Looking a nice build ill be interested in the auw when you have sorted the retracting legs and how you go about it :D
dizzy :)
thanks guys for the positive comments
dizzy I won't be putting retracting legs as the gimbal is only two axis
just want a nice stable platform to get good steady videos with a long flight time
seem to have ticked most of the boxes with this one
