hear is the story so far, I have bean looking at lots of build threads and kit that I think will mack a good platform for my first FPV.
I was thinking of adding ailerons to the build, is this a good idea? (?) Wat are the benefits if eny, and the same question for a ruder mod.
I wont to get everything before I build so that I can work out what mods I will need to do to the air frame, her is what I have ordered so far.

ide get some easy glider pro wings, especially with all that extra weight, also what ii have seen people do is get some steel tube,weld it to some sheet metal,and glue the tube in the motor hole, and mount a small out runner above so that you can get a 9x6 prop on.

When you mean extra weight, do you mean the FY21AP II IMU Autopilot + OSD, are they that heavy.
Do you think it may be to heavy to fly, a lot of people on this forum seem to have similar setups. I don't need it to go like a rocket, but I don't wont it to fly like a brick.
I just did a search for the pro, I cannot fined just the wings, the kit is about £100, I have just spent over a £1000 and think I may try the original wings, then change them if the weight is to much, + I have just cut ailerons out of the wings, in prep for the build. Has eny one else got the same plan with the FY21AP II IMU Autopilot + OSD on bored

It will fly fine, what you will find though is fitting the FY21 in will need carefull consideration and power maybe a bit limited. Stepping up a prop will help

Both Ian(coyote) and I have put Easystar build threads on here.
We both did things slightly differently but both flew ok.
I didn't touch the rudder at all apart from putting good hinges on it. I added ailerons but I put them to far inboard. Having said that when mixed with rudder it flys great. The turns are perfectly coordinated i.e. it doesn't slip/slide around a turn it banks as it should.
I'm sure Ian's flys equally well so the choices are all up to you. I think it's a must to strengthen the ailerons with CF strip as well as the elevator.
Take your time with the wiring up as it takes a little planning to get CG right as well as accessibility to components.
On joining the fuselage halves I glued some of it and taped the areas I though I may need access to at a later date.
I fly with one 2000mAh lipo and it lasts forever so no real need for two unless you're going for long endurance flights. Mine is right up in the nose.

I have looked at both builds and I have got Meany ideas from them, knowing that it will fly withe all this kit is great news. Chris, dos this mean you didn't yous a separate battery for the video kit?
The wings are curved along the edge, I looked down the wings before I cut the ailerons out and holding a straight edge to them, no test that there is a flat area at the ends of the wings, this made the hinging better, I used felt covered polycarbonate hinges, FS super glued in to slots cut in the fome, followed by a strip of Blenderm Surgical Tape to seel the join.
