Hi all
I have been working on extending the MultiWii Rushduino/KVOSD software to be what I want from a Multicopter OSD and its now where I am happy to share with a few others.
If any of you guys run multiwii and want to try out the software I'm looking for a few testers! It works on minim hardware which is available very cheaply. or if you want a decent all in one solution, look no further than this baby....
http://www.multiwiicopter.com/products/multiwii-paris-v5-mega-iosd-gps-autopilot (http://www.multiwiicopter.com/products/multiwii-paris-v5-mega-iosd-gps-autopilot)
Screenshot below... until such timeIi have a day off and its not raining/working/shopping for crap in tescos...
if you run multiww with GPS it has all the goodies :) There is a lot more available on screen if you want to fill it with other stuff like GPS co-ords etc.

Based upon KVOSD R370:
+ New VIRTUAL current sensor working and yipee accurate. No current sensor hardware required and you will get Current draw and mah!!
+ Decor ladder implemented for BARO. replaces existing
+ Scrolling decor - LHS goes up when GPS speed increases.
+ Scrolling decor - RHS goes up when BARO alt increases.
+ NESW scrolling top decor changed - more subtle
+ RTH mode shows GPS RTH-xxx to better visualise RTH situations
+ RTH shows LAT/LON for recovery situations
+ MAX / Minimal screens using OSD_SWITCH. Amend via config.h
+ GIMBAL active indicator
+ MSP debug
- Font test display removed to release memory
Revised Fonts:
Smaller less intrusive alphanumerical
Crosshairs
Distance
NESW decor
Ladders
AHI + AHI center guide
RTH/HOME/ACRO/STAB
Scarab Owners Icon
Relayout:
Widened AHI / decor area
GPS speed to mid left
BARO alt to mid right
Home arrow. Changes with max/min mode
Sensor on indicators
Mode indicators completely revised
Hold Icon is amended
Removed some of the mode indication decor
I got a Tri with an AIO pro, gps, minim and a current sensor.
If you want I can give it a got.

OK mate - here is link to the repository...
If you want to take advantage of the ability to swap between full screen and minimal you'll need to enable OSD_SWITCH in multiwii
You'll also need to upload the Scarab font file using the GUI
https://code.google.com/p/scarab-osd/wiki/Downloads (https://code.google.com/p/scarab-osd/wiki/Downloads)
send me a message if need any assistance!
like to hear feedback - good or bad...

Unfortunately it is my first post here and I am sorry for being like so.

Look my friend, you are free to use the software as you like and we started this project to see it evolve more and more everyday in our hands or on anothers but ... cut the crap :) we never needed to copy one bit in the past so, sure we are not going to start copy your stuff now ;D
Tell you what... why don“t you start from scratch? Then you can toss whatever you want!
Try this: http://code.google.com/p/rushduino-osd/downloads/list (http://code.google.com/p/rushduino-osd/downloads/list)
Have fun and fly safe,
-KV
^^ LOL. Henri - you really should stop smoking that stuff !!
I honestly don't mind you copying - it really isn't an issue. Its the joy of open source!
My only disappointment was you kicked the best developer off the team. That was a real shame.
Not sure what you mean about the analogue RSSI fix...
Low / high bytes stuff on current sensor - not got to that bit yet, but quite probably will need to to get the resolution need. 256 isn't enough to do purely on GUI. Its annoying
I like the sensor icons BTW - cool.
BTW introduced some more new "top secret" functionality:
MultiWii OSD NG development... Map mode 2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCL2uWZvvKM#)
Oh KV- just to add - fixed the PWM RSSI - working really well now!
