Well, cut my teeth on a little 4ch Cessna that I bought in January, just ordered a Wild Hawk so I can get nicely into FPV - now to source some gear :) In the meantime, plenty of aerial videos with my little turnigy cam.
Any recommendations for gear that fits nicely into a (35MHz) Wild Hawk?
Looking forward to becoming part of this community ;D Some great info and, more importantly, lots of people having fun.
Having not had any experiance with the shy hawk i googled it.
Basically its a shorter winged radian. Good in the flying sense, should be very easy to fly, in the FPV sense, your going to be pushed for room a little.
As its your first FPV plane you shouldnt want to cram it full of complication at first so this should be fine.
So your looking at just a camera, a video transmiteer and thats it on board. The ESC will need space to remain cool so i wouldnt put any more than that in for now.
So either a 25mw 5.8ghz transmitter or a 10mw 2.4ghz transmitter has more than enough room in there and i`d mount the camera either to the rear of the canopy or just behind the canopy for better security.
is this the pink coppy of an easystar that rcpowers love??
No nothing like an Eaystar, thats the sky surfer i think. This is a front proped glider much like the Radian
Nope, it's the one RCPowers love:
