I received my Phantom 2 yesterday and immediately opened her up to swap out the stock radio gear for my preferred brand.
The swap was reasonably straight forward and there's plenty of space for a 3rd party receiver.
HOWEVER, the Phantom 2 has it's own Assistant software and to my dismay, the 'RC' tab no longer had the radio button selection for receiver type (trad, s.bus, ppm).
There is a button on the top bar which seems to be offering a switch to std Naza functions, but clicking that still doesn't give a receiver type menu.
I happened to have a regular Naza 2 FC, so i did a temporary connection to the Phantom 2 board (leaving the stock P2 Naza in place). I used the Naza Assistant and was able to select and calibrate my radio gear.
So the Phantom 2 Assistant would appear to be the issue.
Hope this gets fixed pronto, as there's no way I'm going to be using the DJI radio...
