Well after procrastinating i've decided "screw it if it flys brilliant if not the bounce will be on video".
So here it is all done and ready to fly tomorrow or even this evening!
Specs are:
2200mah 3s Tunigy nanoshit lipo
1100kv motor
6x4 pusher prop,
30a Hobbyking ESC,
stock 9g servo's,
and my Futaba T8J!
FPV stuff is;
Boscam 200mw vtw,
Boscam Vrx,
Skews!
That`s a unique build Liam :)
Good use of hot glue and parcel tape! Good luck with the maiden.
Its "plastic reinforcement" ;D
Cannot wait to fly tomorrow!
Nice one, hope you enjoy your flight.
What are you using to record the video?
Love it so different from the norm good luck on the maiden tomorrow :D
dizzy :)

Nothing atm, the vid'll be LOS to capture the crash!
Liam
Nah, in sure you'll be fine, but I have to say the adrenaline does kick in when you take the goggles off and the pane is nowhere in sight.
Happy flying buddy
Liam - make sure that prop is on the correct way round. Writing should face the front! :o
It'll seem like it is still pushing air in the right direction, but you'll have nowhere near the same amount of thrust!!!
Well spotted Tim :)
Swapped it around so the apc prop was correct!
So it flew, I had to take off with a tail wind to avoid a road! It's very underpowered, I fought to get it up, then landed!
Thought at one point I'd have lost it after the wing pushed a wing over!

My old hawk Skye suffered the same way.
Stock - it has plenty power.
But just the weight of a go pro made it fly like a dog!
You will need to look at a different prop/motor to get some oomph into it.

Yeah, going to keep this prop and put a 2200kv on!
Yup.
Annoyingly, the pusher config makes it difficult to increase prop size much!

yeah this 6x4 is the largest i can get on it, its also bigger than the stock 5x5!
Liam,
You want the Turnigy 2200kv motor this will be MORE than enough, and as for the prop, if you get one of these (I have one and they are GREAT):

You'll be able to put any size prop on it you want! :)

Hmm. Not sure the dynam hawk has the right mounting point to secure that!

hmm, i think i'll look @ that, not too sure though as a 6x4 on a 2200kv motor seems to be good!
Tbh it flew but needed extra power, it'd be good on a 1800kv so 2200kv'll be overkill ;D
Liam at least she's down in one piece and you can get her sorted now for some performance flying :D
dizzy :)
Good to see it maidened without issues, you can always play with motor / prop combos if there is still a plane left to do it too. :)
A 2200kv should be enough for it, you could go 2500kv on a 5x5 prop and have lots of speed, but at the cost of more amps drawn
Well, i've ordered the 2200kv motor!
£10 posted can't go wrong i suppose
Woop woop it's been shipped already!
Going to make some Eco goggles soon too!
