Here`s the gubbins.

I think Ian posts on here as well.

Folding propeller design which rotates 'around' the boom, for UAV and R/C planes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-57rHOAdzAI#ws)

Looks ok, but why not just stick a bell motor and folding prop on the front, might get in the way for fpv but just looning about and such its going to do the same job
In fact I'm off to me shed to knock up a prototype let you know how it goe's

Very impressive.

Any thoughts to having aerofoils on the front arms with the pivot points in front of the centre of pressure. You would have self-deploying wings then.

Well so far so good, just got to extend the power lead so I can connect the esc, then its try out time.

putting motor on retract switch so it'll be motor off /on only

Looks good Tony, cant help thinking the tail on the rear booms going to have advantages over on the front though

Rob, wind dropped to about 18mph for the first time in weeks so I thought i would give it a tryout did a few circuits landed plugged in front motor ....... and nowt the bloody esc,s knackered so as yet not tried it but static tests show (before the esc packer in) plenty of trust. got to solder up a new one, might get a chance to try it mid week weather permitting let you know how it goe's  Tony

P.s moved motor control to flight mode switch so now have off/wow/and bloody hell  lol
