what I want that video to say is setting up the frsky taranis with the storm osd  assigning switches for modes and display

and while there on the subject setting up flaps on 1 channel  3 way switch leading on to crow.

is that too much to ask LOL

It is very easy to setup.

Add a mix to the channel.

Set the source for the mix to then switch in question.

Done!

Note.  Do not set the 'switch field'

I'm in the same boat. Could you spell it out a bit clearer Rob, I'm a real dunce on the Tranny 😣

On your mixer page :

Go to the channel you want your switch to be on
Hold down enter to create a mix.
In the mix screen go to source and change value to match the switch you want to use.
You don`t need to adjust anything else in the mix.
Come out of the mix

Go to the next page which is for end points, sub trims and reversing channels.
Go to the channel you set the switch mix on.
Adjust the end points and if needed sub trim value so your switch activates the modes you want.

For a 2 way switch you don`t adjust the sub trim value, just the two endpoints if you nee to at all.

Your done :)

Thanks, that made more sense. I'll give it a go.

I have managed to set the Tornado with a 3 position switch for Manual, PA, & waypoint.
And then have a 2 position switch that overides it for RTH.

I have also set the flaps on the slider.
Just need to add a mix for the elevator to flaps.

Next on the list after a few hundred other tasks.
