my naza will not talk to my laptop. i've just re-downloaded the latest assistant and driver from DJI, still nothing. naza goes safe when plugged in, but the communication light on the assist doesn't light up. on a brighter note, the new rx must be spot on as the naza responds to my TX when not plugged in to the laptop.
any ideas?
I found I needed to run both installers (drivers and assistant) as administrator, in Win7/Win8 right click and select run as administrator.
For Windows 8 if driver doesn't install there is an 'unsigned drivers' procedure on rcgroups which worked for me, but this was before the DJI windows8 specific download, so may no longer be required, no harm in trying it:

tried the administrator, didn't work. but i got a message that said something about usb device not working. tried my naza lite tonight, all fine. i'm now thinking that the pmu has gone duff. it still powers the naza, but won't hook up to my naza 1. if i can get to it, i'll try powering naza 1 off the lite's pmu.
[quote but won't hook up to my naza 1. won't hook up to laptop.

well, i got a new PMU, havn't tried it yet. did some swapping about this evening. end result, naza lite is now on my 330, with the origional PMU. fine , talks to my laptop. now i'm thinking i'll have to talk to BYOD to try to resolve the problem. i'm hoping that it's just my assistant thats tits up, not the naza.
Could it be the assistant software is a different version to the firmware loaded on the Naza ?
When you connect to USB your naza LED should go solid green.. If you're getting that the driver might be stuffed on your PC.
well i updated both the assist and the firmware on the pc i used to have, i then downloaded the same one on here. wish i hadn't bothered realy. strange thing is the naza seems to behave quite normally, even accepted a different RX no way of doing a calibration . i've raised a ticket with BYOD, hope martin can do something for me, talk me through downloading the right bits would be great.
btw, my naza lite is fine, and according to a little message that came up, both use the same driver. "this driver is already installed", or some such.
martin told me to send both naza and pmu back. end result, he couldn't get it to talk either. it will go off to germany on monday.
