Title: Multirotor rescue systems
Post by: electricmick on March 14, 2014, 12:10:47 PM
Looking for a parachute and came across this:  http://www.opale-paramodels.com/index.php/en/shop-opaleparamodels/18/rescue-systems/for-multirotors (http://www.opale-paramodels.com/index.php/en/shop-opaleparamodels/18/rescue-systems/for-multirotors)

Might be of interest for people with serious money invested.

Interesting,

It says in product description that it "unfolds on command". Does that mean I have to flip the switch on RC to deploy it? If yes than I can't imagine reacting quickly enough, need to be fully automatic to be usable. Also doesn't say anything about minimum altitude required for deployment.

What I really want to see if multiple redundant flight system with no single point of failure!
