I have been using a DJI Phantom and just recently a Hi Level Pole attatched to my boat on the Norfolk Broads.
The camera is a Mobius. Some videos can be seen on www.youtube.com/user/ncsl/video (http://www.youtube.com/user/ncsl/video) of the pole arrangement as well as from the DJI Phantom.
Any comments would be welcome and advice.

Thanks for the reply, and yes a lovely area to fly from as plenty of open space.
Was interested in your comment ref. the stabilizing on youtube.
Personally I think it improves the viewers - those who do not fly - appreciation of the flight.
The smoothness of the flight straight from the camera is very good as I'm sure you know but on a personal note only I think it helps.

I really dislike the YouTube stabilisation as well. Problem is that it's about as subtle as a brick - so I'm enjoying your video you posted of that tower on the river Ant and then suddenly the screen warps in an unrealistic way and my brain tells me "something weird is happening" - which pulls me out of enjoying the flight.
I don't disagree with effects in post generally, the trouble is the YT stabilisation is a bit of a sledge hammer to crack a nut - it only works on the full video. If there's a bit you are not happy with, then there's often other tools in your video editors that might help you.

I don't use a gimbal though so you'll probably need to tweak your settings to suit but Virtualdub and the Deshaker plugin are really good tools to use for this, you can get very precise control over how it works.

I have just checked some video S/W I have used, but not fully, it is Movie Studio 12.
Just found the stabilizing plugin on that so now trying the raw video with that fix!
