Title: Spektrum AR635 RX
Post by: acecall on March 21, 2014, 04:51:21 PM
I am attracted to the Speky AR635 Rx as it has inbuilt stabilization. The manual states that it is only suitable for digital servos however. ( I am puzzled to know why).
Has anyone out there used this Rx with analogue or digital servos?

John.

My understanding is all the gyro sas systems need digital servo as they have full torque for even small corrections, whereas an analog servo is weak on small changes, as a result I believe they servos get knackered very quickly due to the constant jittering you get with a sas.

Having said that some of the old heli fbl units claimed to work with analogue servos but had different settings so maybe its a narrow deadband issue.

Digital servos are so cheap its not really an issue.
