This just popped up on my YouTube feed
HobbyKing Daily - HK KK HC (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6iwXTkeM0Hg#ws)
I instantly thought this was a good idea. Not so much for the box, but separating the screen is quite nice. You tend to do lots of tuning/messing around when you first install your KK2, but after that point it should be pretty much "set". I also like the idea of then being able to tuck the KK2 away somewhere (which I tend not to do now, just in case I need to ever see the screen to change something)
One thing though that seems a bit lazy is that the form factor of the board looks about the same. I would have thought it was a good opportunity to shrink things down a bit without the LCD needing to be there, but hey ho - all in all a welcome addition I think

Tongue twister
looks a good idea for the miniquads where boards are tucked away..
I usually tune it then don't touch it again
I like that, I suspect they kept the same for factor to allow people to swap out old KK2 for new without modifications to mount points.... and its cheaper for HK too :)
When the KK2.1 came out people seemed unhappy with some of the components which had been used, including KK himself IIRC. Is this still the case or has it all been sorted now?
excellent idea.
