Title: You tube set up

Hey everyone

I have just set up an account with Youtube to have a play and upload some of my FPV stuff.

Can anyone give me advice of software etc for editting vids. Is the uload to youtube simple enough?

In the mean time i will have a look to see if whats out there on the net.

I found a great bit of software called VideoPad ... free version too :)

Other than that, Windows Movie Maker is ... ok I guess.

         Vegas 10 as it works well with the gopro it does have a lot of things on it which i think you would never use but the finished results do look good

Im new to it and a total dummy when it comes to editing so i would advise setting some time aside and just sit watch and learn from the tutorials on youtube

The nack with youtube is what file format you upload it as. Youtube can take a nice good quality video and slaughter it completely

'Vimeo' is a bit better than youtube. Also 'Exposure room' is better still, if you can get on it.
I do all my video editing on Windows movie maker and the win 7 live  version.

Yeah i use vimeo now, apart from having to sometimes wait for 3 hours, no ban on music, much better video quality, no adverts. Shame its missing a few youtube features but wins hands down.
