I'm new to the area (Northallerton). I have a DJI Phantom, and in the workshop in various states of build I have a Teksumo, Skywalker and micarus' old Twinstar II.
yeah bud and cant wait to meet you, bad news about the field we use i have asked the owner and he is not going to tarmac the drive to the field in the near future, shame as its a good field just a seasonal one lol

I'm up in Darlington and fly mainly at a farm not far from Scotch Corner but also up at the Newton Aycliffe club field.

Hi PK, yes I've seen the road signs to Scotch Corner when going up the A1. Would be good to meet for a fly at your locations.
Unfortunately, I have to travel quite a fair distance from my home before I can fly anything RC... simply because I live on the married quarters at RAF Leeming and military air traffic control are a bit precious over their airspace lol. So in answer to your question... nope... not found any places to fly near me. I'm hoping to get down to Ripon area and up your way to poach some flying spots :)
I think Jamiejig is from Thirsk from looking at the member map, again, not too far. About the same distance from me as Ripon.
This summer should be good for FPV :)
