Title: Turnigy transmitter case - cheap and cheerful, strap needs fixing though
Post by: jamesb72 on August 06, 2014, 09:40:18 AM
I got one of the cheap Turnigy transmitter cases a while back for my FPV rucksack, its about £12 delivered and is a perfectly fine case to protect your transmitter, only issue is the velcro strap is held on with the weakest glue ever, my first one fell off the first time I pulled it tight.

I mangled the case trying to rivet the strap back on, I stupidly used a drill to make the whole, and the fabric covering the foam wrapped round the drill bit and ripped off about 10cm across!

I had bought a much more expensive Atomik case last week for new transmitter, which looked smaller, but its actually much wider so wouldn't fit in my rucksack or crates, so I returned that, and just got a second turnigy case which the strap had actually fallen off in the post, but I came up with a much easier and neater way to fix this.
