Title: Hobbyking Uncovered
Post by: electrotor on August 28, 2014, 12:32:38 PM
The company we love to hate or hate to love. Anyway here's an article I found on them.

Interesting insight into the company. I like the way that they acknowledge their support is lacking and they are trying to improve this. The only real problem I have now with them is something out of their control, taxes on importing

Agreed - I hate taxes  \0/.  And moreover, how politicians waste my hard earned monies and duties.  :sparta:

Nice article, balanced and its good to know that its staffed by passionate hobbyists.

I placed quite a substantial order (23 items) on their International Warehouse on Monday evening, it was dispatched on Tuesday and hit my International shippers in Hong Kong on Wednesday evening. Thats pretty good going in my view.  Of course, its when stuff goes wrong that's the issue, which hasn't happened to me .....yet (probably jinxed it now )

I wonder how the UK operation looks in comparison?

So the large parcel turned up today, all present and correct, 6 days from order to delivery - but I did use my own courier from Hong Kong.
